International Music Café
Make music, exchange songs, translate, invent new sounds, perform!
Meeting new people is at the heart of our Music Café International sessions. The meetings typically begin with friendly, informal conversation over tea and biscuits. Then we offer beginner lessons in small groups, for example in violin, Bağlama (turkish lute), piano, or guitar. To conclude our music cafe sessions, everyone makes music and sings together in a big, open group.
All are welcome to drop in and take a look! Please get in touch beforehand (see “contact us” section), because the Music Cafés take a break every so often for holidays.

Together with musicians Murat Tosun and Fabienne Hasslöwer, the Musikcafé International group works to develop a colourful setlist. Since the group’s performances are very much in demand, performances take place at least quarterly in front of a wide audience.
